Things a man should know about fatherhood

MSN Lifestyle has an article from Esquire magazine listing things a man should know about fatherhood -- presumably before it's too late. There are seventy-two items, most of which I agree with. Some are humourous -- "There is only one reason for a teenager to burn incense, and we think you remember what it is." -- while others are dead serious -- "The most common cause of fatal injury among kids between five and nine involves cars, which is to say, hold their hands. And buckle them in."

This is a good list of stuff for potential (and current) fathers to know, even though they left out a few items, such as "Yes, shopping carts are intentionally designed so that your children's swinging feet are at exactly the right height to cause you extreme pain" and "Two kids = one house". Got any others they left out?
