Blogging Baby Sleepover for Tuesday, January 22

As with every Tuesday night, here I am, faithfully bringing you daddy blogging tidbits from all corners of the internets. I recently turned in notice with my 8 to 5 employer, ditching the dayjob for time at home with my daughter, instead of time cramped in my cube. Thus, this week is dedicated to the stay-at-home dads -- the guys that do this for a living. Dudes, I'm proud of ya.

One I've just bumped into is Occupation: Dad -- a guy from Wisconsin that stays at home with his son, Benjamin. His topical, opinionated posts remind me a little of Rebel Dad -- one of the more visible figures of modern fatherhood out there in internet-land. Definitely worth a gander, so check it out.

Another guy that I've briefly mentioned before but deserves a second look is I'm Not a Slacker. Besides the fact that the man has found an excellent name for his blog, he's a committed father who openly grapples with the difficult-to-navigate emotional landscape of stay-at-home dadness. I love that he takes his role as caregiver so seriously.

Lastly, Dadventure -- a problem solving daddy blog. Sites like this are a great resource for young parents, who (like me), don't have many friends with children, and regularly turn to the internet for parenting tips and tricks. Read and learn.
