There are a lot of online stores where you can buy t-shirts for your kids. Here's one where you can buy t-shirts designed by kids. Very Meri "gives a voice to children of all ages, through whimsical and uplifting clothing, while promoting the arts and building self-esteem." The founder, a first grade teacher, spent a year of recesses asking kids what they would like to see on a T-Shirt. Thus begat VeryMeri.I rather like the "Go Green!" and "Yum!" (featuring a slice of watermelon) shirts. I think the "Boy Loves Pink" shirt is awesome -- who says pink is for girls? Luckily, the shirts are available in kids' and adult sizes, because I think I'm definitely going to have to get Rachel a "First Grade Rocks!" shirt to wear to school. As an added bonus, VeryMeri donates 5% of its sales to Free Arts For Abused Children.

libby goldstein said...I have bought several of the very meri tees as gifts and kids just love them. The no homework shirt has become a favorite with the parents as well!!! I think the line is innovative and just plain adorable. Thank you Meri for adding fun to what the younger set now has available to wear. Kudos!!!
