Very Meri Shirts

Filed under: Day Care & Education, Decor, Mommy Musts

There are a lot of online stores where you can buy t-shirts for your kids. Here's one where you can buy t-shirts designed by kids. Very Meri "gives a voice to children of all ages, through whimsical and uplifting clothing, while promoting the arts and building self-esteem." The founder, a first grade teacher, spent a year of recesses asking kids what they would like to see on a T-Shirt. Thus begat VeryMeri.

I rather like the "Go Green!" and "Yum!" (featuring a slice of watermelon) shirts. I think the "Boy Loves Pink" shirt is awesome -- who says pink is for girls? Luckily, the shirts are available in kids' and adult sizes, because I think I'm definitely going to have to get Rachel a "First Grade Rocks!" shirt to wear to school. As an added bonus, VeryMeri donates 5% of its sales to Free Arts For Abused Children.
