Pole dancing makes for a good mom's night out
Categories: Just for moms
Pole dancing is no longer just for smoky bars and bad loose women. It is a craze that has invaded the nation and entered suburban bedrooms. You can have your own pole installed in your home, order tapes or like my fellow mom friend, take classes at the local health club.
I have yet to try pole dancing, but it sounds like good fun. My friend attends her weekly class with about four other mothers, after class they go out for a dinner without kids or husbands where they have an agreement talk about things other than kids and husbands. Next time the class is available, I plan to don a pair of heels and give it a whirl. I doubt it will be a second career, but it might make for some laughs. What about you, do you pole dance?

I used to be a dancer and I think that pole dancing is great excercise and great fun. If I had a place near me where I could dance without worrying about having to work the crowds and make money, I'd be there twice a day!!!!

I took pole classes for 4 months and am planning to take more.
No only is it an amazing workout but it makes you feel sexy and desirable.I recommend it to any women, despite age!
You go girls!

Pole Dancing is fantastic fun, and an absolutely fabulous work out. It is at times absurd and ridiculous, but it's easy to laugh at yourself in that environment. Not to mention the fact that, well, as absurd as it is, you're learning to hold yourself in an altogether new and not at all un-sexy sort of way.
I was taking a pole dancing class this fall (which I stopped once I became pregnant), and I intend to try again after baby # 2 is born.

I would love to learn how to pole dance. It looks like you are flying...and who wouldn't want to have that airborn feeling? Plus, the upper body workout has got to rock! For women that want to feel great about themselves, find their inner and outer beauty, and bond with a group of women, I can't think of a better than bellydance. I lost 40 lbs doing it. It didn't feel like a workout, and the rhythms and drumming are infectious! I finally feel great about myself (and no, I still am not perfect, but I don't care anymore!), and I can find beauty in all people now. (I used to have judgement about others.) So, pole dance, or belly dance, you'll find your rocking goddess within, and without!

I used to be a dancer and let me tell you, pole dancing works just about every muscle in your body. It is the best work out ever! Since I don't dance any more, I have to work out twice as hard just to stay in shape. I think it's time I look into one of those classes!!!

I couldn't do it. I have no desire to resemble anything close to a stripper or pole dancer. It would make me feel like a hypocrite as I feel erotic dancers are a disgrace to the gender. JMHO.
