Fans throw Tori Spelling baby shower

There's just something about Tori Spelling, best known for her role as Donna on Beverly Hills, 90210, that irks me. Honestly, though I have some guesses, I can't put my finger on it.

Maybe it was how she had a yard sale, which is kind of odd, considering her father (a television producer) had more money than all the Blogging Baby readers combined. While I haven't read any of the articles, I have skimmed over many headlines that insinuated that Aaron Spelling didn't leave her much money when he died.

Again, I don't know her and haven't read the will, but I'm going to guess that she's probably doing okay in the cash department.

That's what is odd about this TMZ article that says Tori's fans have been buying her gifts from her baby registry. According to sources, the company Tupperware is throwing her baby shower and not her mother. While I'm personally a fan of storage containers, perhaps the Diaper Genie people or the company that creates those plastic grocery sacks that are so great for poopy diapers should have thrown it.

(Hey grocery sack company...call me!)

One interesting fan sent a note along with the gift. "Dear Tori, I felt so bad for you when I read that Tupperware was giving you your shower and not your mother, so here is a little something for your new bundle of joy!"

In case you are interested, here's a link to Tori's Petit Tresor's baby registry. I'm so happy to see that the $210 baby cashmere hoodie is still available. Nothing like fine material to sop up a diaper blowout!

What's even more interesting is that many other celebrities have registered at Petit Tresor...but none of their fans ever bought them presents. So next time your favorite celebrity has a bun in the oven, head on over to the site to show them how big a stalker fan you really are!
