Amazing photos based on children's drawings
Categories: Fun & Activities, That's Entertainment
My daughter is just at the age where she's coordinated enough to incorporate real things into her drawings (as opposed to scribbles that represent real things). Still, viewing these masterpieces is a very interpretive endeavor, which usually involves me saying something like: "wow, that's very...avant garde!"
Photographer Yeondoo Jung, however, has taken this interpretation to entirely new level -- by creating large-scale, highly elaborate photographs based on children's drawings.
Check out the artist's website to see a number of examples. I'm amazed both by how beautiful and how specific the drawings are -- the amount of detail used in replicating almost exactly what the child has drawn is remarkable.
