I have been neglecting my sleepover duties for the past while. This is mostly due to the fact that I myself have been doing a lot of first trimester sleeping and slipping in my blog reading. But lately I've been feeling more awake and I'm taking baby steps back into the blog world.
I have to admit that I like to stick close to home. So the first people I check out are the ones in my town. My friend MotherBumper is suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder. The appropriately named SAD is something that the crappy, cold weather of the north tends to blanket over people, especially at this time of year when we feel like it's been going on forever. Go over there and cheer her up will ya?
Gabriella takes amazing photographs and unlike me, seems to be pretty good at updating her blog regularly. She lost it on her daughter a while back, because she wouldn't get her boots on -- yet another side effect of this nasty winter. Considering I found myself in tears at the daycare Thursday by the time I dressed Nate in his snow pants, coat, hat, boots, mitts and scarf -- I can totally relate.
My homegirl Jen at MUBAR gets mentioned around the momosphere a lot, but it's because she's really funny and ridiculously smart. Her latest post is about the phenomenon called The Secret (if you haven't heard about it, you've been living under a rock or you have a newborn) and her take on it is nothing short of side-splitting.
