Baby arrives after ten years of infertility

I discovered the blogging world through infertility blogs. Though I hadn't experienced the problem myself, so many "infertility bloggers" have amazing stories and writing skills. It was hard not to be drawn in, and to experience the roller coaster of hope, defeat, and resilience.

This story, about a 38-year-old woman in the UK, has similar elements of emotion
. Carys Parker struggled for ten years to become pregnant, suffering through 4 miscarriages and two strokes before delivering her "miracle baby" Dylan six weeks ago.

Parker has a condition known as "sticky blood syndrome" and has lung issues. Her doctors "gambled" with a cocktail of drugs to help her conceive, but the article doesn't go into details about what that cocktail was.

Congratulations to the Parker family on the realization of their dream.
