Baby arrives after ten years of infertility
Categories: Pregnancy & Birth, Media
I discovered the blogging world through infertility blogs. Though I hadn't experienced the problem myself, so many "infertility bloggers" have amazing stories and writing skills. It was hard not to be drawn in, and to experience the roller coaster of hope, defeat, and resilience.
This story, about a 38-year-old woman in the UK, has similar elements of emotion. Carys Parker struggled for ten years to become pregnant, suffering through 4 miscarriages and two strokes before delivering her "miracle baby" Dylan six weeks ago.
Parker has a condition known as "sticky blood syndrome" and has lung issues. Her doctors "gambled" with a cocktail of drugs to help her conceive, but the article doesn't go into details about what that cocktail was.
Congratulations to the Parker family on the realization of their dream.

Hi...Carys Parker here! Thanks so much for your good wishes. Baby Dylan is doing well and is now just over 8 weeks old. To give you more info, I didn't have any problems with conception...just retention of each previous foetus. I have lupus and antiphospholipid syndrome (sticky blood). This caused clots in my placenta, causing the babies to spontaneously abort. The treatment that I received, with Dylan, was Clexane (low molecular weight heparin) and aspirin, to thin the blood. If anybody in a similar situation would like to email me, please do. Carys xx catgirl1968@yahoo.co.uk

Hi everyone, I came across a book that might be relevant to the topic discussed here.
It's called "The Natural Diet Solution
for PCOS and Infertility" by Dr. Nancy Dunne.
It's a comprehensive book that covers dozens of PCOS and dietary topics.
