Product Recall: Children's Mood Necklaces

Filed under: Health & Safety: Babies, Decor

United Imports Inc., of Flushing, N.Y., in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, is voluntarily recalling their Children's Mood Necklaces. This is yet another line of children's jewelry that contains high levels of toxic lead.

These necklaces are multi-colored pendants hanging from a black cord. The pendants come in various shapes, including hearts, crosses, moons, feet, stars, dolphins, shamrocks, teardrops, spiders, flip-flop sandals and butterflies. They were sold exclusively at Accessories Palace in Lake Worth, Florida and on the accessoriespalace.com website, from September of last year through this past February. Naturally, you'll want to take any of these necklaces away from your kids and return them for a full refund. For more information, contact United Imports Inc. at (800) 457-3545 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit the firm's Web site.
