Color your water
Filed under: Health & Safety: Babies
I came across a gadget that might just seem like chindogu if you're not a parent. For $20, you can get an attachment for your faucet that will turn your water blue. What makes it of special interest to parents is that when the water temperature reaches 89 degrees fahrenheit (about 32 degrees celsius), it turns red.The value there is obvious if you have kids -- they can easily see if the water is too hot. The device consists of a unit that attaches to your faucet -- two universal adapters to fit most faucets in the USA are included. Unfortunately, we have a fancy-schmancy faucet in the bathroom, so I'm not sure this would fit there. Still, for only $20, I might just get one
