Toddlers used as contraceptive tool
Categories: Toddlers, Media, Gadgets & tech, That's entertainment
The commercial is presented by the Danish Pharmaceutical Association and features a variety of ridiculously adorable babies spilling juice on pristine sofas, aiming water nozzles on to the bathroom floor, pulling white rose vases off dining room tables and generally conducting themselves in the way that toddlers do.
It's funny -- as the Mom of a toddler, I watched the video and thought "Cuteness! Toddlers are the cream of humanity with all their funny little foot-drawings and curious maneuvers, I want more!" But I know my childless self would have been horrified by the commercial and in fact, it would have provided good incentive for contraception back in the day.

Some would use any "negative" activity of a toddler to justify the token 2 kids they have. How so? you ask. Because, most mothers would rather spend the day with acquaintances in an office than spend that energetic time with their children. In fact, it is a wonder that they even gave up the time for labor and delivery.

I think this commercial would still work on me! No more kids are in the cards right now and I could very well end up being a one-and-done kind of gal. Sure, my daughter was terribly cute back then, but I remember the toddler years being such a headache. Life is much easier for everyone now that she's older. And she's still cute!

Watching that made me laugh and want another baby all the more. I miss those baby days...
