Fugitive dad blogs on the run
What would you do if you came home, discovered your wife missing, your house ransacked, and your name on the FBI's Most Wanted list for a crime you didn't commit?
This guy grabbed his son, fled the authorities, and is now blogging about it.
"Dillan's" blog sounds like the plot of an action movie, plus, I find it hard to believe that someone on the run from the FBI has time to blog from Internet cafes. So it's probably not true.
But if it is, what an amazing story to follow.
"Later (into the night), I pulled over on a pitch-black, country road to sleep. I clicked the radio on to let music help clear my mind. I turned up the volume just in time to hear a reporter declare that I've been spotted in the state and I'm a violent, murdering fugitive who has kidnapped my son."
Even if it's completely made up, the pretense that it's written by someone who might get caught at any minute makes for a gripping read.

Anne said...What a completely ridiculous blog! Did you read it in full? A lot of things sound so off...especially how his 7 year old son is drawing pictures of crop circles before they're created.
I honestly think it sounds to me like a writer is using a blog as a space to test and develop characters for a novel.
There's no way this is for real...

It's so fake, but a fun read. A little to sci fi for my taste though.
