Just for girls
Categories: Development, Media, That's Entertainment
ParentDishers Susan Wagner and Jonathan Morgan have written before about Conn and Hal Iggulden's The Dangerous Book for Boys, and the reader comments were overwhelming: what about the girls?
Authors Andi Buchanan and Miriam Peskowitz agreed, and are planning a companion book titled, The Daring Book for Girls.
The book will include chapters on the essential toolkit, five karate moves every girl should know, important women of the last century, ghost stories and rainy day games, famous women spies, how to change a tire, campfire songs, stocks and bonds, and how to make a zip line in your backyard.
The book will be published by HarperCollins with a release date of November 1.

I don't understand what all the fuss was about over the book for boys. Heaven forbid we celebrate boys! It's just the feminist culture that has been created that says we can hoo-rah all the women we want, but don't celebrate the manliness of men.
Don't get me wrong -- I think the book for girls is fabulous. I just wonder if there would have been such a stink about not having one for boys if the girls' book had come out first.

I hope it's as good as the one for boys. If so, I will buy both for my girls. If not, I will only buy them the boys' book!
