Image of the Day: Ups and downs on the playground

One of my kids' favorite activities is going to the park. It doesn't matter that they have been there a million times before or that they are too big for some of the toys. As a parent, there is something incredibally beautiful about watching kids play and laugh just beacuse they can. The freedom and laughter ringing from inside a slide or as a swing sails into the air signify the joy of childhood and the arrival of summer afternoons. Thank you so much to Flickr user mamabrarian for sharing this image of her child and reminding us that beauty is in those everyday simple moments.
