Celebrity babies crawl with SkidPants

Admit it, parents. Babies are way more fun once they learn to crawl. The only downside is the rugburns -- especially during the hot summer months, when you're more likely to dress baby in shorts and skirts (although, I've known some crawlers to get raw knees even while wearing pants).
Enter SkidPants from Dittany Baby. They're like kneepads for babies -- that are also all the rage amongst the rich and stylish. Gwen Steffani, Tiger Woods, Ben Affleck, and Tori Spelling have all bought some for their kids -- and I can see why: they're adorable.
Really, they don't look like anything more complicated than a pair of legwarmers, and I'm sure you could make your own Skid Pants with even the most basic knitting knowledge, or just an old tube sock. That said, the Dittany Baby styles are incredibly cute -- my personal favorite is totally the pink plaids. Awesome!

My son is THREE and we have stuff he hasn`t grown into yet that was purchased around his birth.
The page doesn`t say "that use", it says "that have".

A pair of stretchy Zutano pants would work just as well. I don't know of any long-term scarring as a result of learning to crawl. Lame!

skin knees are part of growing up and babies. If you want to soften the effect crawling has, use lotion on the knees at night....
