Spice girl Victoria "Posh" Beckham told Jay Leno that she and soccer-husband David Beckham will be trying for a fourth child during their time living in Los Angeles, and what she really, really wants is a girl. "I'm really girlie," she said on the Tonight Show. "I'd love to dress a little girl up. We will see what happens in a few years."Posh and Becks have three sons so far, eight-year-old Brooklyn, four-year-old Romeo, and two-year-old Cruz. Not having heard of the Duggars, she noted that they've "got so many children now, it's not about parenting any more. With so many, I'm constantly saying, 'Don't touch this, don't do that'." Personally, I thought that was what parenting was all about. In any case, I wish them luck in their quest for number four.

Lacy said...I watched Leno the night she was on, and was pleasantly surprised by how sweet and normal she seemed. What she said was, with three boys it's more about "crowd control" than actual parenting.
As far as wanting a girl, I see where she's coming from. My third little boy is due to be born in a few short weeks, and while I'm thrilled and can't wait to meet him - I'll always sort of wish that our little brood included a girl!
