It's a boy for Naomi Watts and boyfriend Liev Schreiber! Born a few weeks ahead of schedule on Wednesday, Alexander Pete Schreiber weighed in at eight pounds and four ounces. According to Watt's publicist, mom and baby are both doing great.
According to a source, the sex of the child was a surprise even for the new parents. "This is a dream come true for both of them and they've done everything in their power to make it as special as possible, right down to staying in the dark about the baby's sex right up until Naomi gave birth," the source says.
Watts and Schreiber costarred in 2005's Painted Veil, but Watts is probably best known for her role in King Kong. Schreiber has been in all kinds of movies that I've never seen, but he's a cutie and I should be paying closer attention! Congratulations to the new parents!
