Little People dad gets DUI
Filed under: Just For Dads, Celeb Parents, Alcohol & Drugs, That's Entertainment
DUI's are not just for young, rich Hollywood starlets. Matt Roloff, the father on TLC reality series, Little People, Big World, was pulled over in Washington County, Oregon in June after he was seen having difficulty keeping his car in one lane. After failing a field sobriety test and refusing a breath test, he was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was later released and has pleaded not guilty. But it gets worse. Driving under the influence isn't new to Roloff. He had a previous charge in 2003, which was dismissed after he completed an alcohol diversion program. Clearly, that program didn't work.
It has gotten to the point where you almost expect this kind of stupidity from certain young celebrities. And we worry about our impressionable kids emulating the bad behavior of Nicole, Lindsay, Paris and the rest. But Roloff is a father and the children he is impressing are his own. Shame on him.

Jenna said...I find this sad and frustrating. Coming from the perspective of a wife to a fire/medic who has to clean up the messes that people who drive under the influence make... and watch what it does to him on an emotional level... I have absolutely, as in ZILCH, respect for people who drive after having consumed ANY alcohol. I used to love this show but it will no longer be watched in our household.
