Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine is back!

Yesterday was a good day. We got news that Ellie got into the school we wanted, the dog's heart-worm check came back negative, I finally reached the bottom of my laundry pile and I found out the original Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine is back!
Compared to a good education and healthy pets, Snoopy Sno-Cone Machines might seem rather unimportant, but it takes me back to simple childhood pleasures and makes me feel all happy inside. For the uninitiated, the Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine is basically a hand-cranked ice-shaver. You put ice cubes in at the top, push down on Snoopy's head while turning a crank and out comes bits of ice. After about an hour of cranking, you will have a small cup of ice shavings over which you pour liberal amounts of flavored syrup made from Kool-Aid.
For some reason, the Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine disappeared from the market about ten years ago, but now it's back. And Ellie is getting one for her birthday next month, whether she wants it or not!

Mina said...This was one of a few items that I asked for over and over for birthdays or Christmas that I just didn't get. Maybe my son will have to get one for his 5th birthday next month!
