Did Jenna Bush get engaged 'cause she's pregnant?

As Sandy reported last week, President Bush's daughter Jenna is engaged. It certainly seemed like the pair were a match made in heaven -- especially considering the future hubby's extensive background in Republican politics.
However, today we learn that the couple's love may be based on more than their similar political ideologies -- namely, that Jenna has a bun in the oven.
Oh, the scandal!
According to (an albeit improbable) photo essay by Wonkette, the famed D.C.-based political/gossip blogger, the Bush daughter, infamous for partying like a rock star, is indeed with child. It's not entirely unconvincing, but today, Canada's National Post blog refutes the claims -- using their own set of photos to point out that, if Wonkette's assertion (which is basically that Jenna is pregnant because she wears shapeless clothing) is true, than she would've been carrying a baby for the last three years.
Regardless, the Post has started the requisite bump watch, just in case these relatively unfounded rumors turn out to be true. Rest assured, I'll be keeping my eye on this one.

THATS A BAD PICTURE OF HER MAKES HER LOOK SWEET AND WHOLESOME WHICH I'M SURE SHE IS IN THE EYES OF HER PARENTS BUT I'VE SEEN HER IN HER PARTY MODE CLOTHES. SHE'S GROWN A LOT SINCE THOSE DAYS

A marriage to a rich Republican is right in line with the Bush family's utter selfishness and greed. Family values? How about spoiled brat values? Have either of those daughters done anything supportive post-9/11 or related to Iraq, or are they just hedonistic me-first jerks?

That would make a lot of sense! Its not the best way to start a marriage, but its not the worst that can happen. The good thing is that we'd stop hearing about those in Hollywood who are having babies before getting married....

#7, Ray - let me help you pack. We live in Germany (via the Army) - what gives Americans a bad name are comments like yours. Idiotic and with no meaning, what was the purpose? Not a fan of President Clinton, but I certainly never called him, his wife nor his daughter an idiot. Just didn't agree with some choices he made. But he was the CIC, and deserved my respect. As does this CIC. Grow up, and spout off something worthwhile, not, "the girl is a tramp" (and you know this how?) etc.

There is so much hate out there in the world. Really, rot in hell? Her face creeps you out because she looks like her dad? Look in the mirror people. The hateful words coming from your mouths are simply a reflection of who you really are. So Jenna Bush is pregnant...and, why is this such a BIG deal? Stop complaining...go out and do something productive. Stop hating.

If she's pregnant I'm sure we will find out. Most people have already had sexual relations before marriage. Not saying it is right. But if she is pregnant and getting married then good for her. Better to do that than have an abortion. If she is I commend them both for they would be ensuring what's best for the child and allowing the child to live and grow up with both parents. No one should criticize.
