Posh takes the kids to school in heels

Ooh, here I go again with the heels thing... Victoria Beckham, a.k.a. Posh Spice, has been taking her youngest son to a summer day camp at the school her older boys will attend in the fall. The Daily Mail is making quite the to-do about the fact that she did so in five and a half inch heels. Now, I've never worn heels (other than cowboy boots), so I can't say for sure, but it's always seemed to me that high heels would make it easier to walk uphill rather than more difficult -- kind of like bringing your own portable stairs with you on each step. Of course, going down becomes a major nightmare.
In any case, I don't see a problem with this, really. She's obviously used to wearing them -- the Daily Mail describes them as "her ever-present killer heels" -- and she seems to have everything under control. Add to that the fact that she probably has a significant contingent of support staff, and it seems perfectly okay to me.
What does worry me, based on the photos, however, is why, at three-and-a-half years old, is Cruz still sucking on a pacifier?

Please, let's not get into the debate of when to break the pacifier. My kids could still ahve it at 2 1/2 as long as they were in their room, preferably napping. It's up to the mom, not the village!

In my defense, however, the article originally said he was four which I didn't think was right.
There are reasons to discontinue using a pacifier after the first year; there are some references on Wikipedia that deal with the issue: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacifier#Summary_of_best_practice_recommendations
