Regis the grumpy grampy!

Regis Philbin and wife Joy announced on "Live with Regis and Kelly" this week that their daughter Jennifer (J.J.) is pregnant and due in February. The expectant mother was a writer on The O.C. and Saturday Night Live, and is married to Michael Schur, a writer on the comedy series The Office so making the baby laugh should not be a problem!
This baby will be the first grandchild for the 76 year-old Philbin, jokingly referred to as "the other hardest working man in show business" and second wife, Joy. Regis also has two children, Amy and David, from his 1955-1968 marriage to Kay Faylan.
"We're very happy and proud," said Philbin about the upcoming birth. "It will be interesting to see how they name the baby. So far everybody has avoided the name Regis.'"
Maybe this will be the pivotal event that gets Kelly Rippa to stop with the "Big Daddy" business and start referring to Regis as "Gramps"! He seems like he'd be the cantankerous sort of grandpa that acts annoyed but secretly loves hanging around.

From what I understand, this will in fact NOT be regis's first grandchild. His first 2 kids with former wife both have children but it's difficult to find any information on them.
