Nadine Silverthorne welcomes baby girl!!!

It is with great excitement and sheer, unadulterated joy that I bring you news that ParentDish's own Nadine Silverthorne gave birth to a lovely, beautiful baby girl bright and early (6:36 AM) August 25th!
Although we wait with bated breath for more details, we do know the little girl's name is Lucine Seta Silverthorne. How gorgeous is that? Her mama is something else, so I can assure you this little gal will live up to that beautiful name!
Although we haven't heard the good news from Nadine herself--and with good reason, I mean, after all, she did just give birth!--we caught wind through the great blog roll Martinis for Milk.
As you may know, Nadine is no stranger to motherhood. Her last baby was born C-section, and this time around Nadine dreamed of having a VBAC--vaginal birth after C-section. This is no small feat. Many doctors disapprove of attempting the VBAC for reasons I certainly don't know. Relatively few women who have a C-section apparently are able to have a vaginal delivery afterwards.
We're all so proud of Nadine for sticking to her guns and having the VBAC she dreamed of. There is nothing in the world like bringing a new little one into it, and we are honored to share this joy with Nadine.
Congratulations to Nadine and her family from all of us at ParentDish!!!
