Foods your kids lurrrve

"Mama, I lurrrve my choco-milky. It's soooo nummy." This is the latest from Bennett, and he means it. He loves his chocolate milk, loves loves loves it.
Partly, he's copying his older brother Carter, who loves it too (it's 2% milk with a tiny drop of Ovaltine in it. The Ovaltine came from my sister-in-law, who introduced it to her kids and mine fell in line, too. But that's a subject for a different post: how do you handle people feeding your kids things you might want them to eat?)
Back to the love. Bennett's twin, Avery, dislikes milk...but he's crazy for yogurt. Maybe my boys come by their love of dairy through my side of the family: growing up, I can remember my little sister eating bowlful after bowlful of Kraft Macaroni N' Cheese (the cheesiest!). And me? I think just about everything is improved by the addition of a nice slice of aged cheddar.
What do your kids lurve? What foods can't you live without?

APPLES! Seriously. My son is so obsessed with apples that we even turned it into a theme for his 2nd birthday party!
And really, any fruit. I have been known to throw blueberries into fresh bathwater in order to entice my son into letting me put him in the bath. I've also been known to use blueberries as motivation to get him OUT of the bathtub ; )
Lately strawberries are high on the list also. My Mom bribes my son into the stroller with blackberries found on trails they walk together.
I gasp for air when I run out of fresh fruit in the house!

Oatmeal. My kids are small (but growing in line with the curve!)and I always wanted them to eat more so we started as oatmeal for their evening snack. It's instant w/ fruit and they love it. At least I know their bellies are full and it's fairly healthy. Now they like it for snacks all the time and I am OK with that (plus it's simple, hot water and stir!!).

My son's the same way about apples-loves them! We do a lot of raisins, baby carrots, oranges, celery w/pb,pb&honey sandwiches, and hot dogs. I could cook for hours but they are much happier with easy 123 meals and snacks :)

Bananas. Orion would live on bananas if I let him. Whenever I ask what he wants for breakfast/lunch/dinner, the answer is inevitably "nana!"
On the odd occasion that he's all banana'd out, it's bagels all the way. He is an odd child.

My 20-month-old loves chicken nuggets. I buy the freezer kind and eat up a few in the microwave for dinners. His latest can't-get-enough-of-it thing is chunks of cheddar cheese. Lots and lots of pieces.
Bananas have been his absolute favorite, though, since he started on solids. He has one every morning, sometimes with a handful of nilla wafers or cheerios, as a welcome-to-the-day snack. I have never seen him turn down a banana.
