Help a mom with her hair

A while back, I wrote an entire post about my complicated relationship with my hair. Today, I learned about a mom with an entirely different attitude.
When Jen Singer found out in June that she has non Hodgkin's lymphoma, her oncologist warned her that she'd mourn the loss of her hair. Jen had a different plan: to use her hair loss as an opportunity "to laugh in the face of cancer."
Jen says, "After my husband, Pete, shaved my hair Fourth of July weekend (first, in a Mohawk, of course), I created the Wacky Wig Contest, a chance for the folks nearest and dearest to me to embrace the toughest time in my life--and make me look absolutely ridiculous."
"Now I'm sharing the wigs with you. Check out the wide array of wacky wigs here and vote for your favorite. You can vote for just one at a time, but you can vote every day, so drop by often--and tell your friends. But hurry! Contest ends September 17th, the day of my last chemotherapy treatment."
My favorite is the "Achy, Breaky Heart," but then, I've always been partial to a good mullet. I notice the side-ponytail a la Napoleon Dynamite is missing? Maybe there will be more installments...
Thank you, Jen, for your bravery, your humor, and your humanity. I wish you well!
