Zahara Jolie Pitt toting $1,150 handbag
Categories: Life & Style, Celeb Parenting
You know what's crazy? When the wee version costs over a thousand dollars.
Zahara Jolie Pitt, who is two and a half, was recently spotted toting a Valentino purse just like one her mother has. The bag is available upon request only in specific Valentino boutiques and retails for $1,150.00.
I don't know how I feel about this. On the one hand, Angelina can certainly afford to buy her kids whatever she wants for them; on the other hand, does a two year old REALLY need a couture bag?
Mostly, though, I'm just wondering if Angelina would consider adopting ME.

I wonder if the bag is Angelina's, and little Zahara just picked it up and wouldn't let go. My 2-year-old has been toting around makeup brushes lately, but I didn't buy them for him. Actually, I'd kind of like them back. . .

If I was so rich that I could use dollar bills as kindling to start a fire, I'd probably spend that much on a purse for my daughter. But only 1 handbag....that's it! You have to have draw the line somewhere :-))

Ok, I dont know what I have more of an issue with-- any 2 year old having a 1K purse (even if her parent's are loaded) or, that Angelina is supposed to be this ambassador/good-will/etc. etc.-- however she still drops 1K for a purse for a 2 year old.

I'd like to have a little more faith in Angelina and think it was a gift. Cant you see some other famous person buying them matching bags for their birthdays or something? Or even Valentino saying, here's walk around with these for a day, extra publicity for me.

While I think it might be nice for her to adopt me..he he but more than likely both purses were a gift as she is photographed nearly everyday i feel pretty safe in assuming most of their stuff is free anyway! As it is viewed as free publicity so therefore alot of celebrities get ALOT of free stuff and just think they can afford it! lol

There's a very good likelihood that Valentino gave them BOTH purses, or the child's purse if Jolie had already been photographed carrying around the adult version. That's the way life as a celebrity goes . . .

Well, they are matching so it is possible that she got them as a gift (maybe from Brad). Besides, do you realize how much money those people make? Who really cares if she spends some of her (earned) money on her daughter? I'm sure she could've blew it on FAR worse things than to have a matching purse with mommy.

My 6 year old loves purses. However, she just lost her favorite one ("Thumper" from the Disney store.) Hope Zahara is a little more careful with her things.

And it's white, too! I have one word when it comes to white and children, and that word is NO. Look at that girl. White shirt, very light pants, white bag. How can she play in those clothes?

I really find it amusing that with all the mayhem going on in our country that anyone has time to worry about the price of purses or who has them. Also it is sad I found time to read about it......oh where are our minds Have a Blessed day everyone!

I'm so very glad I was not subjected to this type of scrutiny when mine were young. If I could afford to do so, my dog Lucy (a white terrier exactly like the new one Angelina and Brad adopted) would have mini replicas of my handbags. So called pc activists who feel they have the right to tell everyone how to spend their own money need to back off. If she bought 10 so that she can throw each one away instead of cleaning it-it's not up to you to judge.

You know what, who cares it's her money and of all the celbs Jollie is one that gives 1/2 of what she makes to charity. Don't see too many doing that. So go find another story or another celb to pick on.

Who the hell cares? Why would you even pay attention to something like that? When there are so many parents in this world who are neglecting their kids or worse? You should take some time and investigate the kids in suburbia going to school with bruises on their backs rather than what a movie star's kids have as a handbag...what is wrong with this world? Just watch her movies and leave them alone. I am sick of Bradgelina

I have to admit if I had the money I would splurge on something like that for my daughters. Sometimes it's just too hard to resist, hehe.

Personally, I think Zahara's bag has been Photoshopped into the picture. It seems WAY too out of character for either Angelina or Brad.

Who r we to judge. Angelina has alot of money and gives a great portion of that to help others not to mention her time. When was the last time most of us even walked across the street to help someone, let alone travel the globe. So what if her child has a bag that is expensive? Are you such a hater that it bothers u that much? She more than pays her dues, she can do whatever she wants....and yeah, I am a huge fan of hers, not only in film , but for her efforts as a humanitarian. She is constantly under the microscope for her weight and her relationships. The media needs to get a life and focus on the real issues.

I think even if you can afford to buy such an over the top thing for your child, you shouldn't. If everything comes so easy, how can you appreciate things. The other issue I have is that Angelina is always trying to do good for the underprivileged, $1000.00 could do alot of good.
