Angelina's tooth fairy pays big bucks for teeth
Categories: Celeb Kids, Celeb Parenting, Rumors
It's official: everything is better for celebrities. Better houses, better cars, better looks -- and now, we learn today, that they even have better tooth fairies.
You may have seen the recent photos of Angelina Jolie carrying her son Maddox from his New York school, in which the youngster's smile revealed that he's missing his two front teeth. Well, apparently he's smiling for a reason. In return for those teeth, the 6-year-old got $100.
And what makes it even better, is that Maddox can spend that cash on whatever he wants.
Sure beats the nickles and quarters I got for my teeth as a kid. In fact, I think, even as an adult, I'd knock out my teeth for that kind of money.

Hmmmm....I wonder why kids of the rich and famous don't have any sense of the value of money?

You would think that she would ask Maddox to donate that money to help kids that lose their teeth to lack of proper nutrition. Way to go Ang teach your kids the value of a dollar. My kids have been taught to never throw away toys, it is better to give to those who have nothing and to only put enough on your plate that you can eat. We donate clothes and toys to the Goodwill, Salvation Army, and other charities. If my child gets a toy, then he/she has to pick a toy to donate. My kids understand that money isn't everything. I cried when my 10 year old asked if we could ask for donations to the local childrens home instead of presents for his birthday coming up.

Can her kids walk? Every picture you see them in, either her or Brad are carring them Angie - You are nothing but a bag of bones, put your kids down and teach them to WALK. You look over-porotective carring them on your hips like a sack of groceries,
disgusting.

Lyn, if your kids were surrounded by idiots with cameras all day you'd carry them, too. Why don't you people use your heads before you insult people.

I'm sure these kids get everything they need from toys to expensive outfits. But $100 for a tooth that would come out no matter what? Seems extreme. And giving part of it to charity would teach him what she has tried to do with her riches. But we can't say what we would do if we were in the same situation. They both get millions for each movie made. So maybe $100 to them is like $5 to us.

I'm just glad Maddox is smiling, never seen him smile....EVER !!!
I guess i'd be miserable too if i had to sit on this bony old hip all day, i guess the $100,- bucks made it all beter.

What will he get for his molars woohoo!
My kids got coins and when they got a dollar that was a molar woohoo. rich or not that is really rediculous I think these people keep pledging they are teaching their kids values to help others and values of family~~ paying them money such as this for two front teeth is quite redicoulous but then again when you got it flaunt it UGH! Old fashion values are the best!

How can she go around the world pretending she cares about others, and then throws money away like that? Like that kid needs $100.00 more than a family in Africa to live on for a long time......

I guess she wants to raise her kids to be shallow, money oriented, spoiled and to feel entitled to special treatment like she does. And they'll never even have to pay their dues or earn their place in society since she's making sure she's giving them that like a gift. It's too sad and 12-15 years from now when she's having problems with their acting out behavior she won't have a clue as to why.

I like Angelina. She's done great things for people who have no voice. Maybe she doesn't consider giving her adoptive son $100 for fallen teeth extreme. She may feel the need to overcompensate because this child after all is from a third world country, who might have never had the chance to receive her or anyone else's love.

Angelina has been blessed with a lot of money. She has spent a lot of her time and money helping others, so why shouldn't she be able to spend some money on her kids? Maybe losing a tooth was a big deal for Maddox.

If he wants an IPOD that's $79 and up. My daughter want's the Nano for b-day and she's five & getting it. Maddox & other kids will probably be most down to earth kids...seen 3rd world countries first hand.
Those kids will do more charity work then most adults. Stop whining about Angie and Brad. Leave the kids alone.

Well I am sure they cant just take the kids to Wal-mart to shop. No one knows if the child knows how to share or not except his family or nanny (he has two good parents for an example of charity so I have a feeling he is taught to be charitable)so give them a break .100.00 dollars dosnt go very far where we live.

Why should Maddox, or any child for that matter, be ogligated to donate everything they receive? Yes, they have to be taught to empatize, and to share, and to be giving, but after all, it is the family's money and the family earns it, they have the right to decide how to spend it. Besides, $50 a tooth is not outrageous, my sons get $25 a tooth, and we are not half as rich as they are (not even a tenth!); still, they are generous and donate new toys as well as old ones, and have been know to spend their allowance in things for others in need.

So What!!! Angelina gave $100 bucks to her child. your jealous remarks are not very becoming........
BTW, just because the child is adopted doesnt mean you refer to her children as her adopted child. For Christ sakes its her child.... Do you say to others that "My adopted child" blah blah blah? NO,
you say your child or "My Child".....

Are you really so perfect that you make fun of someone's weight and call them a bag of bones? I am a NATURALLY very thin mother of two. I get no sympathy for being thin, even when people like one on this sight, openly insult me for something I can't help. Why don't you put a picture of yourself obviously SO perfect self on here for everyone to critize, and if you won't then get a life. I hope if you have children or will someday you will teach them to be a better person than you are and realize that no one is entitled to insult someone like that. THAT'S what is disgusting.
Yeah 100 bucks seems insane for some teeth, but they are the parents. To each his own. I just hope my daughters don't find out or my tooth fairy will be looking pretty stingy.
