Baby clothes you just can't live without
Categories: Newborns, Babies, Toddlers, Baby essentials, Kid decor & style
When it comes to my toddler's clothes, I'll try anything once. You could say I'm easily influenced by hip baby boutiques and trendy items. However, many times those particular items don't work out in the long run. So when I do find an item that fits the bill, I buy in bulk. I guess it's not any different than the way I shop for myself- if I love something, count me in for several colors of the same style. That being said, I'm pretty sure we have at least six colors of the American Apparel Infant Rib Karate Pants. These pants grace the legs of my child year-round. Lounging around the house? Karate pants. Running errands on the weekend? Karate Pants. Neighbor's birthday party? You guessed it, Karate Pants.
I'm fairly certain these pants and the Old Navy three-pack bodysuits have been the top contenders at our home. What about you? What are your clothes essentials?

We live in the Rib Long Sleeve T-Shirts for infants, also from American Apparel. They fit well, have a great color selection and hold up after a lot of wear. I haven't tried the Karate Pants but have been tempted to. I may have to go out and try a few pairs.

My husband and I have a ton of AA clothes and most of our two children's wardrobe is also AA. My brother used to be a rep for them and my sister in law was a model for them for awhile. We def. used to LOVE them.
I cannot stand Dov Charney though and will not support anything he touches anymore. He is sexually inappropriate with his employees, has exposed himself to a reporter in an interview, and was brought up on sexual harassment charges from 6 (I believe that is the correct number) former employees.
I have also heard stories from my bro. and sister-in-law that would make your hair curl (as my grandmother likes to say). It's hearsay or I would post what they have said and seen. It's a disappointment to me because the clothes are awesome. The kids clothes even more, but I just can't do it anymore.

So, I love the karate pants they looks so cute and the colors are great. Alas, if you have a baby with a smaller waist these are huge! I ordered some a couple of days ago (they arrived the next day--we live in Southern California) I tried them on my babe last night and they were huge around his waist! :-( Top clothes essentials for my baby would be Gap pajamas for sure! I LOVE his Halloween ones (they are two piece with a skeleton)--cute!

Around here, we love Lands' End jersey cotton dresses. They're stretchy and soft, and they have pockets! And they're very durable. I've bought several of these dresses new, on eBay, and at garage sales, and I have yet to see a ripped seam or loose button, even after dozens of washings.

I guess it depends on what season you are in, but for my son he tends to prefer track pants to jeans hehe. We might be getting into the business soon with http://www.babyclothes.ca so I'll be sure to have a better idea than!
