Reality Check
Filed under: Toddlers Preschoolers, Preschoolers, Work Life
I was getting Sara ready for school and we were talking about going to her caregiver's afterwards when she hit me with a whole mess of cold, hard reality.Sara: "Who's going to pick me up from school today?"
Me: "Miss Julliette."
Sara: "Maybe when I go to Miss Julliette's, I can have some hot cocoa!"
Me: "Ooh, can I go to Miss Julliette's and have some hot cocoa too?"
Sara: "Nooooooo! You have to go to work!"
Ouch.
