Bruce Willis scares the crap out of his daughters' boyfriends
Filed under: Celeb Parents
Most guys can remember the first time they dated a girl with a really scary father. The kind of guy all those movie stereotypes are based on, that's rude, standoffish, and does everything but punch you in the face while you for wait for his daughter, desperate to get the hell out of there.
Apparently Bruce Willis is that kind of dad -- which you probably could've guessed if you've seen any of the Die Hard movies.
The 52-year-old has three daughters, Rumer, 18; Scout, 15; and Tallulah, 13. Whenever they're hanging out with a new guy, or group of guys, Willis takes one of the young men aside and gives them "that look."
By which the actor really means that he instills the fear of death into their adolescent soul. "I always put one of them in charge ... I say, 'If anything happens to one of my daughters, I'm coming to you first, and then I'm going to kill all your friends right in front of you, and you'll be last.'"
If Bruce Willis had said that to me when I was a teenager, I think I would've wet my pants.

tanyetta said...If my son came home and reported that a grown man threatened him in this manner, Ol' Brucey boy would have hell to pay. It is inappropriate to speak to someone's child in that manner. If you're close to the parent's and the kids then there's no need to threaten anyone. Have a group talk and go over the 'rules' of respect and responsibility, then leave it up to the kids to be trusted to do what they're supposed to do. To just single out a boy and threaten him if something happens to your daughter, you're going to kill them is way toooooooo much!!!!!!!! That's just my 1.5 cents :)

Eric said...I met my girlfriend's dad at a... "party" of sorts, raising money for a charity in honour of a friend of their family who had recently died.
Everyone was supposed to bring their instruments and rock out all day. Except she hadn't told me that, and her dad was well-aware that I played, having seen me.
So I get there, meet her, and we sit down and watch one of my friend's band (one of the members was a nephew) play... all of a sudden, there's someone's head on mine saying "Are you going to play later?"
That's how I met him. Not only did he not threaten to kill me, he handed me his 1971 Stratocaster and told me to play a few songs.
