Pixar's new film: Wall-E
Well, Pixar has released the trailer for their upcoming film, Wall-E, about a robot left behind on Earth after mankind has moved on. Wall-E (pronounced Wally) goes about his business -- cleaning up -- for 700 years until he meets a search robot named EVE who has come to see if it is safe for humans to return to Earth. She heads back to report and Wall-E follows.
It sounds like a lot of fun and the trailer looks great. Once again, I think Lasseter and Co. have managed to bestow life and real emotion on an animated, non-human creature. My mother-in-law wants to take Jared to another movie (she took him to see Cars in the theatre) and I think this might just be the one. Wall-E is scheduled to hit theatres next June -- I can hardly wait! Check out the trailer and let us know what you think!
