Holiday Toy Shortages
Categories: Babies, Toddlers, Preschoolers, Toys & Games
According to Neil Friedman, president of Mattel Brands, the extra safety checks implemented by toy-makers will add to the supply issues in the upcoming months. Considering the last two months of the year account for up to 80 percent of the toy industry's profit, this could be a slight problem.
Well, if the toys aren't going to be around this holiday season, could the industry at least sell the packaging? It seems the box is the only part my son is interested in anyway.

I'm to the point that I really don't want to buy toys for my kids this year. Seems you can't trust what you are buying anyways.
