Pom pom pumpkin craft
Categories: Fun & Activities, Education
It happens to the best of us. While walking down the hallway, you find yourself accosted by the PTA president and before you know it, you've signed up to provide the materials and present a craft for the entire school at the Harvest Festival*. What's an overbooked, underfunded parent to do?
The first thing you need is some liquid paper. This isn't an exotic office supply, it is the crafting blog of the creative and madly talented Laurie Bertrand, the internet's version of Cinderella's fairy godmother.
Laurie has discovered a way to take orange pom-pom fringe and turn it into adorable petite pumpkins with a minimum of effort and supplies, which is much more useful than turning pumpkins into carriages!
And if the basic idea isn't magical enough, she's even posted a step by step tutorial with labeled photographs showing how the process is done.
Thanks Laurie, you've saved Halloween!
