Do we think perhaps the celebrity baby bump watch has finally gone too far? Perhaps--after Stephen Colbert pondered whether HE was sporting one earlier this week on the Colbert Report.
Apparently the fashion-savvy Ms. Holmes was sporting a bump of her own--rather, a very flouncy Balenciaga dress that made her look like she was possibly trying to hide another bun in her oven.
That mini-rumor giving little Suri a baby sibling has been stopped dead in its tracks, I'm afraid. At least for now. Holmes, hubby Tom Cruise and camp are denying everything, which means nothing these days given the denials of Christina Aguilera and JLo.
I'm not sure if I mentioned this before but it finally occurred to me that celebrities go through the trouble of denying pregnancy rumors for so long because it's still less work than having their every move as a mom-to-be critiqued by the media and the public.
I'd deny it too, for as long as possible! The truth is whenever a female celebrity gets pregnant the truth is going to come out--along with her baby bump--soon enough.

Law Surprised by Downey Jr Baby News
British actor Jude Law was caught off-guard by Japanese media at a news conference on Wednesday (February 15) by the news that fellow Sherlock Holmes actor, Robert Downey Jr. had become father to a bouncing baby boy. The 39-year-old actor was in Tokyo to promote his latest film, "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows", the sequel to the 2009 film "Sherlock Holmes".
