8-year-old twins invent wedgie-proof underwear

Jared and Justin Serovich were messing around one day, giving each other wedgies, when mom's partner joked about the need for wedgie-proof underwear. Little twin lightbulbs must have gone off in the third-graders' heads, because it wasn't long before they unveiled the "Rip Away 1000." The invention involves some customized boxers with rip-away seems held together by Velcro.
"When the person tries to grab you - like the bully or the person tries to give you a wedgie - they just rip away," Justin says.
The idea not only got the boys to the finals of an Ohio invention competition, it got them a spot on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday. Way to go, boys!
