Milla Jovovich has a baby girl
Categories: Pregnancy & Birth, Celeb Kids, Celeb Parenting
Actress Milla Jovovich has given birth to her first child and joined the ranks of those who favor unusual names for their children. Ever Gabo Anderson was born Saturday in Los Angeles and according to mom's rep, everyone is doing great. Milla met Ever's dad, Paul Anderson, when he directed her in the movie Resident Evil. The two have been engaged since 2003, but have yet to set a wedding date.
Back to the unusual name. I think Ever is pretty but I'm not sure how to pronounce the baby's middle name. Is Gabo with a short or long 'a'? Perhaps it is a Ukranian name?

I have a good friend from Ukraine, and he assures me that Gabo is neither a Ukrainian nor a Russian name. It's another instance of a celebrity giving their kid some oddball name. Ah well. Congratulations to the new family!

Gabbo was a minor character on The Simpsons (pronounced Gab-oh) you don't suppose she got it from there, do you? There's a Russian sculptor with the surname Gabo too, hopefully that's where it came from instead.
