Categories: Toys & Games
What child wouldn't love to play around in their own cool kitchen? Here are some great options:1. Plan Toys Play Kitchen - Simple and modern.
2. Hearthsong Pretend Kitchen - I've heard great things about this one.
3. Educo French Kitchenette - Cute, inexpensive AND free shipping!
4. Lili Play Kitchen - The kitchen of all kitchens. (It better be with that price tag.)
5. Alex Toys Kitchen Play Set - Compact size for smaller spaces.
6. Melissa and Doug Large Wooden Play Kitchen - Whimsical and colorful graphics.

We got the Alex Toys kitchen for our 2 1/2 yr old boy toddler this year.
We bought it at Babycenter on sale. Also, purchased the cooking toys that go with it.
Can't wait for him to open it!

Have you looked at the Plan Refrigerator? It has a little ice maker on the door which dispenses little wooden ice cubes. Although I love the over the top Pottery Barn Retro Kitchen, the Plan is what we'll end up with. We are going to start with the double sided sink oven combo and build from there.

One injury or worse is one too many when our children should be experiencing happiness with toys. We have create a complete online store at http://toysnotmadeinchina.org to provide a range of choices. Unlike other stores (e.g. FAO Schwartz) we do NOT carry anything that is made in China. If we discover that something is in fact made in China we remove completely from our site. Please give us a try as we are 100% safe and easy to use. http://toysnotmadeinchina.org

Anyone with limited space should check out the wooden cooktop at Romp (I think the site is rompstore.com). It's just the stovetop on a flat board with dials on the front, so it can be used anywhere (coffee table, sofa, etc.), then stashed away when not in use. Simple, modern, inexpensive - great design!

I've heard good things about the kitchen from Costco, but haven't actually seen in myself (there's no Costco near us and we don't have enough room for one yet). There's also a really awesome set of plans to make your own kitchen from cardboard and contact paper, sold by this Etsy seller: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5363529 .

I know I have a "grown-up" kitchen and all, but I still want all of these.
