Do you know an inspiring mom who juggles her own family needs, yet still manages to make a difference in the lives of others? If so, now is the time to start naming names!
Created to recognize, support, and help mothers who are making a difference in the world, Cookie magazine is currently accepting nominations for the 2nd annual "Smart Cookie" mom award. In addition to honoring women in high profile positions in the fields of health, science, politics, and social work, five "every day" mothers will be chosen from the entries and the winner determined by the votes from visitors to the Cookie magazine website.
The winner's favorite charity will receive $35,000 and she will be flown to New York for an award ceremony, as well as be photographed and featured in an upcoming issue of the magazine.
The winning nominator will be rewarded for going to the trouble of submitting the 250-words-or-less essay with a spa vacation in San Diego, proving that the next best thing to being a smart cookie, is knowing one!
Nominations will be accepted until December 13th.
