Umm... weight speculations aside, I would be more worried about her MENTAL state.
Judging by these pictures (I don't know her, personally, so I can't really judge), I would be worried about Lisa Marie doing more than eating too much... If she's not stoned out of her gourd in the pictures, I'll eat my shoe!

You know, people are way to judgmental for me. This woman is looking down, looks like she's just out shopping and "she's on drugs AND fat"???? Good thing nobody see's me when I go out to burn my garbage. They'd probably say I’m an elephant AND I'm on heroin.

Well Joy, perhaps you are just naive.
I am not trying to be judgmental -- I even state that since I don't know her, I can't be sure about my assertions.

But given what we DO know -- that Lisa Marie has always been troubled (c'mon, she married Michael Jackson for goodness sake!), drugs are a HUGE problem in her family, drugs are a HUGE problem in her business & culture, and the FACT THAT HER EYES ARE DEAD GIVEAWAYS that she is stoned out of her gourd -- I think it's pretty reasonable to make these speculations.

PERHAPS, if someone had speculated these things about her father, and intervened in time, he might still be alive today.
Pretending everything is "just fine" when it isn't, doesn't do anyone any favors.

I truly did not mean to be "mean."
But having had drug addicts in my own family -- and having had other family members "make excuses" for their appearance and chaotic behavior for years on end -- I think this is more than just speculation.

I think Lisa Marie has GORGEOUS eyes! They are absolutely stunning and they always have been. But these newest pictures show a different look in her eyes that is NOT pretty. It is the glazed-over, dark-circled eyes of a drug addict. They do NOT look the same as her eyes in earlier pictures. (I can see the old pictures, too, by the way...)

Absolutely.
But I think you are missing the point of the article and this blogger's intentions... Elvis DIED from a combination of his
escalating weight and drug use. The fact that Lisa Marie is prone to the same emotional highs and lows as her father (bi-polar disorder) and the fact that her life is nothing less than chaotic, it is completely legitimate to be concerned for her welfare.
You seem to think that by defending her, blindly, that you are somehow more loyal to her or more caring about her. But I happen to care very much what happens to her and I think those close to her need to pay attention to the sudden changes in her appearance.
In that context, I do not think this article is simply gossip, but a genuine concern for where Lisa Marie may be headed.
That's all I was trying to say.

Not that it has anything to do with this topic, but isn't Lisa active in the Church of Scientology?

As for dark moods, Lisa Marie has had one marital disappointment after another. That might make a lady feel none too skippy. Plus, losing a parent at a young age like she did is devastating. Dealing with these situationas has to be worse with celebrities because of the way everything is blasted across the news over and over and over for YEARS after the actual fact. One would have to skip watching tv and reading newspapers to allow any kind of scab to form over the wound.

Just a thought, but Elvis' mother who died at young age had really dark circles around her eyes in pictures that I've seen taken of her not too long before she died.

All that being said, I hope that she's ok.

This is quite humorous listening to people who claim they have definitive knowledge on the precise cause of Elvis's death thirty years ago, when the medical examiners don't even agree on it.
