Pregnancy clearly agrees with Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden. She looks healthier than she has in ages and together, the couple have recently exhibited some surprising generosity and selflessness. Instead of a baby shower for themselves, they hosted a shower for expectant and new moms at the Los Angeles Free Clinic in Hollywood. And these surprised mothers-to-be weren't gifted with the cheap stuff. "Everything they got, we got," Richie says, "so everything that will be in their nursery, will be in our nursery."
Impending fatherhood has even inspired Madden to create a line of baby clothes for The Good Charlotte's DCMA Collective clothing brand. "I was inspired to make baby clothes because I'm excited to share something I love with my kid. I think it would be really awesome for me and the baby to dress alike," Joel tells PEOPLE.
But the cute line of rocker-inspired hoodies, tees and onesies isn't just about dressing up baby. A portion of the sales will go to the Richie-Madden Children's Foundation. "Not only do I want to teach my child how to own something, but also how to contribute to the community," says Joel. The clothes are already available and Madden hopes to add kids' shoes to the line next summer.
