Jennifer Lopez baby registry

This is very disappointing for me as one who respects and admires Jay Lo; every day I worry how I am going to assit my son with his co payments who is in kidney failure. I worked 34 years with the Federal Government and my husband has worked hard all his life starting with helping his single parent father delivery milk door to door...not poor me and my family but there are also so many poor me's who order her music and watch her..seens bit excessive even for one with money but obvious she is not the only person buying they don't make these items for one special order. As a woman who has been trying to get pregnant and has and then lost both my babies I commend her on her wanting to spoil her children. If I had the money she has I would want to lavish them with gifts from the money I've earned. She is spending money that she has to which she is accustomed to having/spending so it fits into her world. Just as we spend and have things that we are accustomed. Having children is never a mistake but a blessing from God and they should be treated as such nothing less.

A baby registry is asamine. People close to you will know what you want and need. It is awful to think that people are so into stuff and not people. I would be embarrassed if I had that kind of money and spent it in such a manner as to draw attention to my wealth. In my area, we call it country come to town. Park your yacht in your front yard, why don't you? What J-Lo will receive will feed a Third World country, find a cure for Aids and maybe even educate the world on birth control. I cannot feed me so I think that I will have a baby. DUH!

I believe that it is the christmas season talking. I know because When I first read the artical I wished I had enough money like her to buy my kids what they want for christmas but i don't so don't go on looking at the rich and cursing them because they can have anything. I am thankful that my kids and family are in good health.

How low for someone or a store to post her registry. This is supposed tobe a private affair for her friends and family. Who cares what she registers for, is anyone out there who responds going to buy her and Marc a gift? Then, shut up......

It took me 15 years to finally have a beautiful little girl - and I know J Lo has longed for motherhood for years as well. While not a huge fan, I am beyond happy for her. I am sure she will make a terrific mom based on how much she wanted this child (or children)

As for the gifts - sure she could buy things herself, but people want to share in your joy, they want to buy things for the new mom and child (or children) Think of her friends, they are not likely to be giving her diapers - they'd be spending big bucks either way, at least this way she will like what they select.

Cearralyn: You are the one that obviously needs glasses! JHO oops Freudian slip...JLO is one of the worst looking of the actresses w/o makeup!
This woman was damn lucky to become a success with her lack of talent as every movie she has ever made she has trouble losing the Jennie from the block accent!
And whats up with her using animal fur in her clothing line?? She obviously is not real bright!
Maybe in her next life she will come back as a furry little creature constantly being hunted..Wouldn't that be poetic justice!

Gosh, if you J-LOW defenders only knew the truth about this spoiled, fake woman like those of us from the Bronx do...wow. She's a fraud and a phoney. What audacity to even ask that of friends and relatives. If you'd notice, the only time she is interested in her old community of Hispanics in general is when she'd promoting a product. She's disgusting. She lives like a queen while her mother lives in a cheap condo outside the Bronx living paycheck to paycheck as a kindergarten teacher.

I'm all for people wanting the best for their kids. But when you have the more then enough money to buy things yourself, dont expect others to spend ridiculous amounts of money on gifts.
Have you seen the "moses bed", which are over $200? They are baskets with bedding! Looks like something my dog would sleep in!

Many of the photos of pricey things say that they aren't on the gift registry but should be. This seems more of a commercial than something J-Lo has registered as gifts she would like to receive. I can't help but wonder what many of you expect from movie stars and celebrities? Don't you understand that the people they know are all rich? Did you really think that she would register for a $35 gift? If her family wan't alreay wealthy before she became famous, don't you think they probably have the "where with all" to afford to buy a relative a gift that costs from several hundred to several thousands? Get a grip. This is not a lot of money to them like it is to you. You need to use your imagination about how these people live and then your expectations would change about what they see as reasonable gifts for a new baby. -

Wonder why people keep spending their money to see JLO if she is as bad as some of you seem to think she is. All these people are making BIG bucks because someone likes them. A lot of somebodies. Stop paying for whatever she does and maybe she will go away. I think you all need to take Economics 101. I personally think she is pretty hot..and she was excellent in the movie about the girl singer who got shot...and the one with George Clooney. And I am a total grindo, btw...
