Singer Lily Allen pregnant

Singer Lily Allen has been in the news lately not for her music, but for her weight loss. After being diagnosed with a heart murmur last summer, Allen began dropping weight in an effort to improve her overall health. She looks great, but it seems that her newly svelte appearance will be short-lived. Her rep has confirmed that the Smile singer is pregnant with her first child.
"I am pleased to confirm that Lily Allen and her boyfriend, Ed Simons, are expecting their first child," the rep said in a statement. "However, as the pregnancy is at a very, very early stage, the couple ask that you respect their privacy, as the health of Lily and their child is their paramount concern."
The 22-year-old singer has been dating Simons, 37, since September. That is a fairly big age gap and a mighty fast transition from dating to mating, but at least these two are both adults.
