Hey dude I just waned to remind you that in the old testament "kids" were legaly entitled to marry at 13(males) and 12(females). Then again these "boys" knew the pentateuch by heart and began taking on the professions of their fathers or training to be scribes at 13 as well. Nowadays, in this country, the OT laws and traditions take a backseat to "complete mental and physical development" and the current legal age of majority. In new hampshire boys and girls can be married at the age of 14 and 13 respectively with judicial and parental consent.

Sex is not a sin. And even if it were we're all going to hell for one reason or another. That's why the bible has so much in it about forgiveness.

Drinking laws are kinda rediculous, but no one I know ever had a real problem getting alcohol before 21. If you want beer it's easy enough to find an adult friend or even a complete stranger to buy it for you. Sad but true, sorry.

I'm not even gonna touch on america being the so-called moral capital of the world(acc to judeo-christian ideas) though... parhaps the few years following the emancipation proclaimation (before reconstruction ceased/failed), or during WW1 & 2. There's alot wrong with this country in terms of "Doctrinal" morality. Wake up and smell the ashes, bro.

And while we may be sexually mature at 12 or 13, intellectual maturity still seems to elude people like you.

God made us sexually mature at a young age because a long time ago, people didn't live as long. And now a days kids are much more aware of sex at younger ages then ever. It's the adults that have problems. They need serious help if they think it's ok to have feelings for children and to act on them. Don't make this a religious thing. it's messed up people that were probably molested as children that continue the cycle. (And no, i'm not saying everyone who was molested acts this way, or that everyone who does it was molested, it's just a common trait). I feel bad for anyone that had to go through that but there is no reason to make this about God or religion.

john doe sex is not a sin if it wasnt for sex do u think you honestly would be here if your parents hadnt had sex? geez think about things before you respond to them. the main reason we were made sexually mature at such young ages is that people did not survive for long periods of time up until the medical feild was much more advanced. and another thing what in the devils hell does this have to do with god, it was not his choice for the teacher to have sex with her student it was the teachers as well as the student there was no one else who can honestly be like you cant have sex with him or you cant have sex with her because even if you were to tell them no they would have still done it.

To John Doe: When a MAN is asked to take a bullet for his country or worse, he should be allowed to have a credit account from DEll, or HP for a laptop, he should be given credit to purchase a car, he should be permitted to have a credit card and yes dammit, he should be allowed to have a beer.
