Playground Memories: Statues Game -video

Another popular playground game of my youth was Statues. The person chosen to be It had to avoid being touched by statues, or he/she would turn to stone as well.
Statues could move about, but only when It was not looking which meant you might have to hold your frozen position for long periods of time. That could be challenging when one was outdoors where bees and flies might buzz near your face or you got a little sweaty in your 100% polyester clothes.
In the following YouTube clip, a group of over two hundred people turned to statues in the middle of Grand Central Station. It's pretty amazing.
