Shia Labeouf in trouble for smoking

Looks like Hollywood has a new bad boy on its hands. Shia Labeouf, of Transformers and the upcoming Indiana Jones sequel is wanted by cops after failing to show up to court for illegal smoking charges. Labeouf has been in the news a lot recently for giving the cops trouble, including trespassing at a Walgreen's drugstore in Chicago in the wee hours of the evening.
The twenty-one year-old is not being accused of underage smoking but is wanted rather for smoking illegally outside a gift store called Skyblupink. More importantly, he failed to show up at the court hearing. Now, the actor is allegedly missing in action, both from the courtroom and elsewhere. My guess is that he'll surface pretty soon, considering his new movie, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is due in theaters May 22nd.
Who knew that kid actor from Holes would grow up to be such a rogue!

And who knew the kid from "Even Stevens" would grow up and find such lame ways to get into trouble?
With all the out-of-control celeb behavior going on these days, I think getting busted for acting goofy at Walgreens and smoking outside a gift shop have to be pretty low in the "bad boy" rankings.
I can't help but wonder if LaBeouf has a publicist who's trying to toughen up his image a little and has precious little to work with. I expect to see in the papers next week that he failed to help a little old lady cross the street, and maybe kicked a dog.

I didn’t even want to post a comment since I find this story so asinine but just wanted to say, it must have been a really slow news day in Chicago if this was all they could find to do. Give me a break!
