Top Mom blogs in one place

Recent media trend studies have found that women -- and Moms in particular -- are turning away from their televisions and tuning in to the Internet. Specifically, Moms are turning away from morning TV news shows and plopping themselves down in front of Parenting blogs to get their raw information about studies, stories, and personal tales related to modern Parenting.

This isn't that surprising to most of us who read and write blogs: many of us know that so much of what can be read on parenting blogs is more true, raw, and resonating than what's found in polished, edited, and approved magazines. I don't watch TV at all anymore, and I rarely buy magazines, but I do have over 200 parenting blogs in my feed reader.

What amazes me about the parenting blog space, though, is the sheer number of quality blogs I keep discovering every day. Last week, noted social media guru Guy Kawasaki launched All Top, a site dedicated to the top blogs and URLs in every conceivable topic -- from humor to crime to gadgets and politics. All Top publishes feeds to the top 50 or so blogs in each category, so you can quickly scroll through and find what you want to read.

I've already found dozens of Mom blogs I didn't know about at the Mom blog All Top page-- and now I'm working my way through the Dads. There are some gems here. Go take a look when you have a chance and you may just discover your newest blog addiction.
