Toddler talk
We taught Riley to say "right up to your face and DISS you", because we feel a child can't be too young to learn some of the finer Beastie Boys lyrics. He actually only says the DISS you part in response to our prompt, "Right up to your face and . . ." but it's still pretty awesome. He even does the Rap Hand with it.Other goofy things coming out of his mouth lately:
"My GOODNESS!" (This is from me trying to use better language when I'm frustrated than [insert colorful Deadwood-inspired term here])
"Hello?" (While talking on a pretend phone, actually just his hand held to his ear) "Oh hiiii, Daddy. Riwwey has a YEGO and make a BIG TOWER of byocks. Uh huh. Okay, bye!"
"AbsoYOOtyee NO THROWING, right Mommy?"
"Hey, get outta my way, cars." (While riding in the car looking at traffic.) "RIWWY'S comin through." (You have to picture this accompanied by a ferocious frown, eyebrows crumpled down around his chin.)
"How do DAT?" (For every question that would normally include the word "why".)
"HELLOOO in there!" (Shouted into every object that contains an opening, such as a sewer grate or empty box.) "ANYBODY INDA THERE?"
What's your kid saying these days?

The other day I had to take a purse away from MG to shorten the strap, and she didn't understand why I was taking it. She hit me and said, "Mommy, you PISS me OFF!"
I nearly died.
Guess I need to clean up my language.

You have to be careful-they can go from human to parrot faster than you know!!!
@ 2, my oldest-now 12...was in the back of the car while we were driving in San Antonio, TX...my husband drove the whole trip and was ready to just start running over people...frustrated he said some choice words...at which time from the back we heard "Get out of the road you F***ING moron." We had to pull over to clean the tears out of our eyes. It was too shocking and funny. But we did tell her it was not nice and daddy was a bad boy for saying such things-she then told him, "We get home-go to your room" which didn't help the laughter problem much.

They say the cutest things at this age!
My 2 year old says "Oh no, is dat sposed to happen?" every time something happens she wasn't expecting.
And "You OK, Momma, you ok?" while patting my face (which just makes me melt every time).
Oh, and on her toy phone or my cell phone : "Hi Daddy, Bring home chocolate milk? OK, bye."
Even when they say just normal things, there's something so cute about it, in that little child voice with the earnest face.

My youngest likes to be succint and to the point, and therefore tries to condense several words into one.
For example, "Wake up" is too many wordsfor her. This becomes "WAP!", which my eldest just "loves" hearing first thing in the morning.
"More milk" becomes "MOK!" And I use caps because she likes to scream (she will *not* be ignored).
I try to get her to say both words, but she resists:
Me: Say "more"
Her: More
Me: Say "milk"
Her: Milk
Me: Say "more milk"
Her : MOK!
Me: *sigh*

If a door she wants to go through is closed she says "It's too closed!" or "It's too locked!"
This morning when she saw the snow (in Seattle in March, WTF?) "Mommy! It nose!"
QFC gives kids cookies to keep their pieholes shut while shopping. Whenever we pull in the parking lot she says "Oh! The cookie house!"

Oh boy...
Fun sayings I'll never forget!
"Dis is hims car?"
"Dat is hims house?"
(We actually used to laugh and many of our friends would try and talk in "hims" language cuz it was so cute at the time)
But the best one sadly from the mouth of my son (Keep in mind I didn't teach him this one, this came from an older kid on the playground)...
To paint the picture we're getting ready for school in the morning and everything is running late and we're definitely not going to make it on time. The oldest sibling (7 at the time) was taking his sweet time and was the reason we were late. Meanwhile as the youngest (5 at the time) was getting dressed to go outside he looks up, perfectly straight face, glances at his brother, and looks back "You know... This is Bull***!" and just kept calmly going about doing his stuff as if nothing happened. Meanwhile as much as we nearly had a stroke from what our "sweet innocent child" was saying, we almost wet ourselves laughing.

My youngest turned 1 the day before Easter. His vocabulary now includes:
"Ada!" (Daddy)
"Hi!" (with hand wave. Sometimes its "Hi Ada!" complete with handwave)
"Arla" (Charlotte, his big sister)
"Dodo" (Dora, as in the Explorer)
"Wipe" (Swiper, as in the Fox, see previous entry)
"Book" (can apply to anything book-like including individual papers and dvd boxes)
"Mum Mum" ("Mommy, where's my pacifier?")
"Mine" (self explanatory...he has an older sister, remember?)

Lets see, my two year old is constantly saying new things to crack me up, not that I can remember them. On a daily basis however I'm very likely to hear the following:
"Daddy bing home pizza?"
"MY COMING!" when the baby cries
"Want more MILK!"
"Elmo syeeping"
"Shup Shayow"
"Want TB ON!"
"Ky-oow eat mommy's boobies"

My daughter is 18 months old. She says
"Tada!" (This is referring to her name, Victoria. We don't know how she got that, but it's a cute nickname.)
"I peshal!" (I'm special)
"Need nilk!" (Need Milk)
"DD!" (dvd, she has a small portable one)
"ewellen!" (eleven, she counts from 1- 13 so far)
When she was smaller, she used to say "HECK!!" (it meant peek, as in peek a boo but she would only say HECK really loud. Now she says "peek boo!"

Abby says awesome stuff:
Mamase - mayonnaise
Patoose - a combo of patoot and caboose
Tik ilway - Chick Fil A
Askatations - invitations
Funny Clay - Silly Putty
I know we're supposed to be working with her to help her learn the right way to say things, but it's just too cute...

My fav to this day was when he was about 18 months old he would "pepperpoopy" for pepperoni (which he never even had until he was past the age of two but I think he liked the reaction!)
