Reese Witherspoon made a surprise visit to a group of students at a New Orleans school where she performed teaching duties for the day. The star paid a visit to the Children's Defense Freedom Fund School in New Orleans, Louisiana where children considered at-risk are taught to become leaders.
The stint is part of an American Idol special to be called American Idol Gives Back, which will air in early April. Reese helped the children study and read them a book. Other stars are also set to give back, including New Orlean's new favorite son Brad Pitt, Bono, and John Legend.
