CNN's Kiran Chetry gives birth

The CNN baby boom continues with the birth of American Morning co-anchor Kiran Chetry's son. Chetry and her husband Chris Knowles welcomed their second child, Christopher, yesterday. He weighed in at seven pounds even and joins big sister Maya Rose, who is two-years-old.
The birth announcement came straight from mom, who is just too thrilled to sleep. "Dad and baby are sleeping soundly," 33-year-old Chetry said. "Mom's too excited to get any shut eye."
Ah, I remember that too-excited-to-sleep feeling. All you want to do is gaze at that little face and hold that warm little body. And then comes the crash. You close your eyes 'just for a second' and wake up three hours later in a puddle of your own drool. Such a special time. Congratulations Kiran and family! Now, go take a well-deserved nap.
