Liv Tyler on being a working mom

I've always liked Liv Tyler as an actress, but after reading this article from Cookie magazine, I think that I might like her as a person too. Her most recent film The Incredible Hulk hits the big screen on June 13, and she dishes about juggling a busy career as an actress with motherhood. Tyler is mom to one very cute Milo, age 3.
Tyler and Milo live what she calls a "gypsy" lifestyle, living on the road for months at a time while she works on a movie. Up until recently, that nomadic life included husband Royston Langdon. The couple officially announced that they were separating earlier this month.
Working moms will appreciate this, though. Though many actresses take time off after their kids are born, choosing only small projects that let them devote as much time as possible to mothering, Tyler says she just couldn't make that work: "Whenever I hear actors say that, I think, 'Wow, they must really be in demand!' I'm still trying to figure it all out. [Modeling and acting] are what I've done since I was 14, so it's not like I have another option."
With the exception of the part about modeling and acting, I can think of about a dozen women I know who could have said those same words. Balancing lifestyle, budget, work, and motherhood is no easy task, and according to Tyler, even fame doesn't make it easier.
